Hola, soy Mario y participo en el programa de intercambio del colegio con South Burlington High School. Mi primer fin de semana aquí ha sido una gran experiencia empezando por el hecho de que era el segundo y tercer día que convivía con esta nueva familia. Para empezar el sábado fuimos a comer a un lugar llamado “The Mill” donde comimos sándwiches y soda. Por la tarde, junto a mi compañero de intercambio fui el anfitrión de una fiesta donde probé por primera vez las “marshmallows fire”. Durante la tarde noche estuvimos cantando canciones y jugando alrededor de la hoguera. Esa noche dormimos todos juntos en sacos en el salón de la casa. En cuanto al domingo fue también un día cuanto menos interesante; fui a ver un partido de fútbol entre universidades, donde viví como una chica cantaba el himno pleno pulmón antes de empezar el partido. Ese día comí una gran hamburguesa junto a otros chicos del intercambio en una hamburguesería típica cercana al campo de fútbol y pasé la tarde con amigos.

Hi, I’m Mario and I’m participating in the school exchange programme with South Burlington High School. My first weekend here has been a very good experience and specially because it was the second and third day that I have been with this new family. On Saturday I went to a place called The Mill where we ate incredible sandwiches with chips and soda. In the afternoon, we celebrate a party with lots of Americans and I try for first time the fire marshmallows. We spent the rest of the night singing and dancing around the fireplace and then we went to sleep all together with our sleeping bags in the basement of the house. Then, on Sunday I went to watch such a great soccer match between two universities and I ate a great burger with my friends in an amazing place near the stadium. Then I hung out with some friends.
