La noche antes de viajar estaba tan nerviosa que apenas dormí un par de horas. Pensaba que el trayecto se me haría eterno, sin embargo las horas pasaron y ni me percaté de ello. Supongo que se debe a que me lo estaba pasando muy bien. Algo que me sorprendió bastante al llegar a Estados Unidos fue la cantidad de arboles que había, pese a que ya sabía que hay muchisimos en Vermont. Tambien me sorprendio el hecho de ver banderas en cada rincon, o al menos muchas mas que en Espana.
Finalmente, tras un viaje de unas 20 horas, llegamos a South Burlington High School, y ahí estaba Anisha (mi compañera de intercambio) y su familia recibiendome con un maravilloso poster hecho a mano. Todos fueron muy amables conmigo. Esa noche cenamos en la cafetería del colegio. Estaba muy cansada asi que me fui pronto a dormir en la habitación que me habían preparado. Cuando me desperté a la mañana siguiente me di cuenta de que una increíble aventura acababa de comenzar.

The night before traveling, I was so excited that I could only sleep for a few hours. I thought the trip would be really long. However, hours passed by and I did not even take notice of it. It was probably because we were having fun all the time. Something that surprised me when we arrived to the Unites States was the number of trees, although I already knew there were many of them in Vermont. Also, there were much more flags than in Spain. Finally, after a 20 hour travel, we arrived to South Burlington High School, and there was Anisha, my exchange partner,and her family receiving me with a wonderful handmade poster. They were all very kind to me and we ate in the school cafeteria. I was very tired so I went to sleep early in the room that they had prepared for me. The next morning when I woke up, I realized that an amazing experience had just started.
