Llevamos una semana asistiendo al instituto junto con nuestros americanos. Durante esta semana hemos observado diferencias tanto en el sistema educativo como en las instalaciones respecto al nuestro.
Nada más llegar nos sorprendimos de lo grande que era el instituto contaba con con varios campos dedicados al deporte, una zona dedicada exclusivamente al arte y otra para la música, una gran biblioteca, dos cafeterías en las que ambas sirven comida, un auditorio, varios gimnasios pero no acaba ahí si no al haber alrededor de 1000 estudiantes lo instituto cuenta con numerosas aulas y taquillas.
Una vez empezadas las clases que más nos impactó fue la forma de enseñar: es cierto que cada profesor tiene su forma de enseñar pero todos tienen algo en común, aquí las clases son más libres; es decir, la gente puede comer o hablar durante la clase e incluso usar el móvil. Otra es que en vez de desplazarse los profesores cada aula tiene una asignatura y profesor propio así que los que se mueven son los alumnos.
Sin duda estamos viviendo el típico estilo de vida americana pero esto no ha acabado todavía queda mucho por recorrer y aprender en esta aventura.
[ENGLISH VERSION] We’ve been going to high school the whole week with our American students. During this time we have seen differences in the education system as well as in the facilities respecting ours.
As soon as we arrived it surprised us how big the school was which has several fields dedicated to sports, an area dedicated only to arts and crafts and another one just for music, a huge library, two cafeterias in which both serve meals, an auditorium, more than one gym not only all these things but they also have many lockers and classrooms because the school has around 1000 students.
Once the classes started it shocked us the education system: it’s true every each teacher has it own teaching way but they have something in common, here the lessons are freer, we mean, here people can eat or talk to each other during the class and even use their own phones. Another thing was that instead of (walking )the teachers from one classroom to another, each room has it own subject and teacher so are the students the one who move.
With no doubt we are living the typical American way of life but it isn’t finished yet, we still have a long way to run and a lot to learn in this amazing adventure.
